Removal of the rear-view mirrors

Undo the screws (2), remove the rear-view mirrors (1) and recover the washers (4).

Refitting the rear-view mirrors

Insert the mirror (1) in the clamp (3) and fit the screw (2) with the washer (4).

Tighten the screws (2) to the specified torque (Sect. C 3, Frame torque settings).

Removal of the headlight fairing

Unscrew the screws (7) and slide out the headlight fairing (8).

To remove the brackets (5) undo the screws (9), while holding the nuts (6).

Disassembly of the headlight fairing

If it is necessary to remove the windscreen (10) from headlight fairing (8), undo the screws (13) and remove washers (14) and nuts (11).

Remove the windscreen (10).

Reassembly of the headlight fairing

In order to avoid damaging the painted parts and the Plexiglas windscreen (10) of the headlight fairing (8) when reassembling, always position the washers (14) at the retaining screws (13).

Fit the Plexiglas windscreen (10) on the headlight fairing (8) as shown.

Insert the screws (13) with washers (14) and nuts (11).

Tighten the screws (13) to the specified torque (Sect. C 3, Frame torque settings) while holding nuts (11).

Refit the headlight fairing

Fit the brackets (5) to the headlight support, fitting the screws (9) and nuts (6).

Tighten the screws (9) to the specified torque (Sect. C 3, Frame torque settings) while holding nut (6).

Make sure that the quick-couplings (12) are in place on headlight fairing brackets (8) and oriented as shown.

Position the headlight fairing (8).

Tighten the screws (7) to the specified torque (Sect. C 3, Frame torque settings).
